You shouldn't add coral bones, because it also increase GH. I rather have a low ph and soft water, than temp good pH, but harder water. Aquarium is a mix of science and art, and it also takes much patience.

Remember ADA soil is a strong buffer, don't try to fight it unless you're very very good at water parameter, otherwise, you'll end up a lot worse than before.
after adding the coral bones, pH went up to 6.5
well, i understand that patience is important
but there's originially 100 fishes in my tank
they kept dying, with syptoms of 爛尾爛肉
n obviously pH is the prime suspect.
that's y i needa hurry to change pH
i guess fishes can survive in a higher gh level, dun they?
i hv been very patient actually, my tank was started in last november...
i cant believe that the ph's 5 after 4 months....
