新手買燈具開缸....上網睇話HQI 會好熱, 依家興用T5HO, 話T5HO d 波長透射之類同hqi 差唔多....
買之前一個鐘, 有朋友同我講話"HQI 冇錯係熱, 不過D 光射落個缸度靚好多, 會有水影閃下閃下咁, 而且D草會生得好D".....
搞到我即係縮....買左冇得返轉頭....

我想問下ching, 我朋友所講係唔係真呢...?
我個缸打算搞個36"x12"x12", 12"深用t5ho 又做唔做到"閃下閃下" 果種效果呢...?

Your friend was right. HQI is better than T5HO. But considering to your tank is 12" (305mm H). T5HO is enough

上網睇話HQI 會好熱
=> 100% true! Water temperature at least 2-3 degree higher than using T5HO. Better to use water cooler.
=> 36"x12"x12", 12" use HQI = boiling water!!

依家興用T5HO, 話T5HO d 波長透射之類同hqi 差唔多....
波長 => NO, T5HO 波長 (spectrum) is similar to PL / T5, but totally different from HQI
透射 power => T5HO higher power than PL /T5 with stronger 透射 power, but less power than HQI
=> U need to think about the depth of your tank. Within 20" depth, think PL and T5HO is good enough

HQI D 光射落個缸度靚好多,
=> yes, 會有水影閃下閃下咁, LED can do the same
=> D草會生得好D, No!! Depends on what plants you have.....U can search the old posts that T8 is more suitable for red plants. HQI is too bright for them and U can ask the boss of "Aqua Plant" shop for details.
