BUT HOW TO??? IT IS VERY HARD TO HOLD THEM

My experience is that most people are afraid of hurting them, and don't tie them tight enough. You really have to tie them up just right, put a small clump about 3 - 4 layers thick on a flat surface, use fish line wrapping them up each turn should be around 0.5 cm apart, and make sure the fish line is hand tight, means you pull the fish line hard enough so that it is starting to put pressure on the riccia layers visibly, don't worry, you won't kill the riccia.

Fishing line is just so much cheaper, and more versatile. But anything would work, they won't care what's holding them down, as long as they see light and have space to grow.
