Like the pros here say, you should have at least 8 cycles of water circulation per hour. You have to adjust both the inlet and outlet tubes to ensure that the water flow around every corner of your tank. BTW, what's the dimension of your tank? 我的缸, 36" 長, 18" 闊 及 水深 18" 左右 啦

大約 180 升水

我用緊 Eheim 2217 (大約 1000 升水 / 每小時), 我估應該足夠吧 ~

會唔會d 植身種得太密而影響水流呢?

That's not enough! You should have at least two 2217 for your tank.

Yes. Some c hings connect them into series but I think that's for other purpose.

大水缸有人用兩個筒

It really depends on each tank. Planted tank need appropriate current (but definitely not too strong), but the need for filtration is really minimal in a good planted tank. I had 36" tank thrive on a single 2016, which also drive a chiller.

I've bought a 造浪器 (http://hk.f2.page.auctions.yahoo.com/hk ... n/b9719480) to make the strong water current and waive in my tank. It is connected with timer (switch on 4 times / day). I believe the strong current helps to clean the leave surface and help fishes doing more exercise . Indeed, fishes also love "play" 浪 ah.....
