Thank you all C-Hings,
Since my tank only got 8" deep、I am afraid it is quite marginal even if I can put in a surface skimmer.
Change water " more frequently" may not be an option in my case、because as I mentioned、I removed them once、but the grease came back in one night、just can't keep changing the water 、right?
After I post the problem、I tried to switched on the bottom "tray " filter on for a night. Surprise surprise、the bubbles not only stirred up the surface (not quite stirred up、but keep the surface moving)、it also resolves the problem.
If the grease was come from the grass as suggested by Aquarius、so 、does it implies my tank is healthy or not???
Thanks for all your valuable advices、C hings,
TaiTai
It doesn't imply whether your tank is healthy or not since an unhealthy planted tank also produces grease.
It just tells you the grass is growing.
