I put the soil in the tank now and prepare to be a prawn tank
any suggestion??
To determine appropriate lighting, we need to know the following:
(1) Dimension of the aquarium, be reminded that the depth of the aquarium have a deciding factor in determing the appropriate lighting that should fit in.
(2) What are the plant that you want to grow?
(3) How dense will you want to achieve in your planted aquarium? The denser your layout, the more demanding on lighting.
So far, the information you provided is not detail enough to make any suggestion.
If you are setting up a Shrimp tank primarily, then I suggest you don't hope for too much on 矮珍珠 and 鹿角苔, with the so-called cheap light that bundled with your aquarium and without CO2 and fertiliser, it is very unlikely that the aquarium is good enough to make 矮珍珠 grow healthly, and the trick is, shrimp don't really like CO2 and chemical fertilizer.
