其實小弟想試下種草呀...

I just searched in the forum..
and I found that "陰性草" will be suitable for my small tank (14")....
I guess I need to first change my filter ..... I read some old post.. seems Eden 501 will fit my need.. isnt it?

我有個Question.. 我d fish is still living in the tank... and is that difficult for me to add things like "soil" and "grass" ??

Please Advice.. THANKS!!

e.g. 當你落一吋至吋半泥 , 唔好一次過落曬 , 分幾日落 , 每日落小小 , 逐樣逐加 ....... 死左魚就唔好買新住 , 等整好曬(d魚死曬 ....... maybe) 水定曬先買d食苔魚 .......

If you are going for 陰性草, the easiest thing for you to go for is using sand instead of soil.

Adding soil to an existing tank is a very high risk thing, be very careful. New soil need time to settle down, if you use ADA soil, takes about 10 days at least when first-time set up, your fishes probably won't live through that dramatic change and bad environment for such long time.

If you use 塘泥 + 黑鋼沙, you can put the fish back to the tank in about 2 days, and the pH change is less significant.

search 黑鋼沙 and you'll find a lot of post in this forum.

you can start to 落草 almost immediately, but if you can workit out right, you can set the tank at the evening and let it run overnight first, then 落草 in next morning, and put the fist back in that night or the morning after.
