A few suggestions for your consideration:
1. You'd better have at least 1 bubble per second for the CO2 supply. Also, the schedule of the supply of CO2 should be in sync with that of the lighting schedule.
2. You tank has been set up for 4 months. You are right, it's about time to add bottom sticks. You have to add them once every 3 months.
3. "白光" doesn't mean much to me. 6500K is the magic no. you should have.
4. For the fertilizers I mentioned, please refer to the following extract from other c hing's article.
5. Keep changing 25-30% of water can help. I'd suggest at least once a week.
6. If you're going to have a 24" tank, you may need to replace some of your equipment, such as the canister.

1. For the lighting system, you may consider T5HO.
2. 511 is definitely not enough for the tank
3. ADA Penac W (防底床硬化) and Power Sand Special are not a must but highly recommended. Besides, you may also consider Penac P (幼苗助長粉) and Tourmaline BC (防腐劑) as well.

mikechan95: Don't worry. What bro Daniel^~^ says is correct. The flow rate specified by the manufacturer depends on some assumptions behind, e.g. the flowrate can only be achieved when the canister is empty. Also, the quality of the product is another issue. For example, if the specified flowrate is 700l/h, the actual flowrate of Eheim will be 560l/h while Atman will be 420l/h (note: these figures are for illustration purpose only and not the result of any kind of lab test). If the canister is further connected to other device such as UV or chiller, the actual flowrate may be even lower.

I used to have an Eheim 2224 canister connected to an UV for my 24" tank. But I have just changed to 2026 as I'm going to have a chiller. Hope these help.

There are many kinds of substrates. The density of them varies much. But in general, I'd say 700l/h is better for your 24" tank.
