水草情迷

各位兄台,
小弟的缸草買回來一種兩日後就慢慢落葉,例如四葉草,太陽草,有燈,C○2,pH5左右,請賜教。

is it need add fat ???

is your lamp strong enough for your plants ??

what is the temperature ??

is the water flow ok ??/

PatLee: "有燈,C○2,pH5左右" that's not enough. It's the quality and quantity of them that tells the difference. Some points to clarify:
1. How large is your tank (the exact dimension)?
2. How long have your tank been set up?
3. What is the soil layer? ADA I or ADA II?
4. How may watts for your light? What's the colour temp? 6500K is the best.
5. Lighting hours?
6. How much CO2 do you supply? For how long each day?
7. pH of 5 seems on the high side and some plants may not grow properly.
8. How frequent do you change the water? And how much?

14"缸,用ada2 泥
ph5以下
27~29度
冇co2,
用8w燈,
開缸約1個月,
一星期換一次水,1/3

宜家連種水容都死.....
是否ph太低??

Any pH value lower than 5.5 sounds too low for me. Frequently changing the water is the only solution. You may consider to change 20% of water each alternate day. Personally, I do not recommend using chemicals to raise the pH.

Dear all,
pls find my replies below :
1) my tank is 24"
2) it has been set up for about 7 months, but all the way is like that
3) Soil : not sure, only see the color is dark brown
4) light : 2x24w, T5CE, white, 13000k and 1x24w, T5CE, blue, 20000k
5) light & CO2 hours : six
6) CO2 : 2bubbles per 4 sec
7) change water : once a week for 1/4

Dear all,
one more thing, since the PH tester, 5 is the lowest, I 'm not sure, my tank's ph is lower than 5 or not.
I will try FishFan's advice to change the water more freq.
