Where did you get 草泥丸 in Canada? What is the name of the product? Normally, the pH should not change more that 0.5 at a time, otherwise the fishes will get stressed.

It is Hagen's Fluval Peat granular (500g or 17.5 oz). It doesn't really tell you how much you should use and the pH it will drop to...

對不起, 我可能說不清楚, 所加的水不是濾桶的水, 是水喉出的水, 不過是經特別安裝在鋅盤底家用濾水系統的飲用水, 即開即用.

海邊拾到的可能會有問題:
1)可能已被浸泡過很長時間了,效能降低;
2)海水的鹽度亦需要經過淡化
所以好似不太適用!

Hei hei, I use Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss which is available at any home improvement store or gardening center. A 3-dollar bag can last you a very long time!!

Is Sera Sponge Filter (L60/L150) available at you local fish shops? I can not find it here in USA.

我用5 gallon桶子來養水, 用ADA Brighty K 5ml , heater setup at 25c , 加 pH down 把 pH 調到 5.3 from tap water ph 7.2 , 加 ADA Palm Net 和 打氣一夜. It just 換1/4水 once a week!

Yes, because the instruction only says so... rinse with some water and apply to filter...
