O2 at night

Aquatic Plants:
Vesicularia ferriei 珍珠三角莫絲
Eleocharis Parvula 迷你牛毛氈
Potamogeton "Octanterus" 尖葉竹節

Invertebrates:
Boraras Maculatus 三點小丑燈


14 APR 08
‧ Lighting 4 hours per day, 15:00-17:00, 19:00-21:00, try to avoid algae growth at the early stage;
‧ Strong CO2 supply;
‧ Water change 10% per day, cloudy for 2 days;
‧ Fish were added on the 3th day to speed up the biological filtration

21 APR 08

‧ Lighting 6 hours per day, 15:00-18:00, 19:00-22:00;
‧ Strong CO2 supply, but diffuser doesn't make tiny bubbles;
‧ Water change 10% every second day;
‧ Biological filtration seems working, water isn't crystal clear, Aqua Soil cause yellow water;
‧ Some Moss turned brown, others have no significant growth
‧ Some Black-Hair algae happen on glass



Problems:
- Weak CO2 dissolution.
- Uneven water flow (out-flow from Eheme)

Try use Co2 Stone, it make really fine bubbles...
Btw the driftwood look really nice ^^ What stone did u use?

The layout is well-designed...
The stones and driftwoods are matched in scale and placed well
Black-Hair algae is seldomly appeared on glass. I think it would be blue-green algae.

Yeh I should use that instead, besides, water keeps going into the glass...

I'm not sure if this hair-like algae is 藍綠藻, yet it's color is. They mainly grow on glass where water flow is strong. At the moment I think the filtration system isn't mature enough.

七蟲草:
Yeh these fish are pretty, called 小丑燈, originated in Malaysia, Sumatra & Indonesia
