AND REPLY TO US
WOW~~
haha, and i remember your 1st post in this forum, u used an online translator and make a post in 'weird' chinese
sorry that i'm offtrack, but, thx a lot~
and nice tank~!
i love this tank the most!
(offtrack again, how do u know this chinese forum? and what triggers u post ur 1st post?)
Hello k-1. Thanks for your comments. Indeed, glossostigma is having some problems in developping in sand substrate. That´s why, for a 3 month layout, she is much too slow in closing open spaces..
I really like aquascaping! It´s one of my two favourite hobbies. The first one is surf. When I can´t do one thing, I do the other.

What made me register in this forum was some of your well known members and their tanks. As I saw your tank gallery, I knew I had to register and try to learn a little bit more of tank aquascape. Although I don´t understand chinese, the few topics I can see in english are always nice to learn different issues related to this hobbie. One thing I like here is the variety of plant species that you have in your tanks. Many of them I didn´t knew they exist until I saw this forum tanks.

Yes, you are correct. The first post was with the help of a translator! What a crap! You must have thought I was crazy or something!

Fortunatelly, many of you that reply to my posts have the kindness of answering in english so I´de like to thank you once more.

劍桃太郎 don´t know why but you always answer in chinese when I always have told you I don´t understand it. Maybe you can´t write english too so we are not comunicating right or maybe you don´t like my posts in english... Of course you have your right of not writing in english. After all, I´m the stranger here. Peace!

WOOOOOOOO~~~~~~~~
Really good natural layout!!!
I want to see clearly about the shape of the woods!!!
To 劍桃太郎, because he cannot read Chinese......
Hello and thanks for the comments. I tried to built it as natural as possible. I´m glad you all liked it.

I can post some pics of the woods when I setted up the layout. I have made a photograph diary with all the developping stages of the tank. Maybe i´ll post it in the sub-forum of yours that gave me the impression that was about " builting layouts step-by-step". Am I correct?

Hey Andre,
Do you got your idea out of
HERE?
I could see some similarities

But yours looks raw~
different plants brings out different feeling~

Hello Kelvin.

As a matter of fact I didn´t took my idea of any layout already builted, altough that Amano tank is one of my favourites!

This layout was imagined by me. I´m a fan of Tolkien stories ( Lord of the Ring, The hobbit, etc) and so I have this crazy layouts running around my head, all associated with old forests, ancient places sorrounded by Nature herself. Call me nuts, I understand.
I also consider Takashi Amano the number one aquascaper though I realize there are a lot more Amanos out there in China, Japan, Corea, etc. I have the theory that, because of your beautiful country scapes, you guys have the feeling of aquascape running in your veins, some more than others.

I´m glad you liked it too.
Cheers,
André
