I have already buy CREE Q5 3W LED 3.3V 350mA x 8 (connect it in paralle) and 220V input and 3.3V output 7A power regulator. Now I want to buy more CREE Q5 LED 3.3V. Please suggest the formular and how many CREE Q5 can I buy.

CREE Q5 can use [email protected] to drive, it seem you waste the CREE Q5 LED power - 3W LED act as 1W LED to emit light, emit intersity may be less than half of the spec.. Anyway a small heat sink still need to add to disappear 70% input power heat transfered, otherwise the chip will be easy degraded
Moreover, constant current source is better if you want to drive the LED close to the max. specification.
