水草情迷

I got a new tank set up about 2 weeks ago with a L14. A week later, I bought a L33 and a 'American tiger'. The L14 is fine, but the other two got all these white spots on the body, getting worse everyday.
Another thing is, due to food left overnight, the water gets kinda dull...
1. What should/could I do about the fish regarding the white spots?
2. What can I do about the water? (The water I stored won't be ready for use until midnight tonight)
