水草情迷

你好!

家中的三十吋缸原本養了十多條灯魚，六七條紅劍 (全是以前红劍的後代，所以有大有小 )，两隻虾和两條清道夫 (是Algae Eater和Peco )。還有六七棵羅漢茜之類水草，缸底全是碎石無沙。

首先那條Golden Algae Eater肚漲和魚鳞豎起，两星期後死去。我買了一條普通的 Algae Eater 替代，但不到一星期又死去。不過沒有肚漲病徵。幸好魚店有十四天包換和退款保證。如是者換了两條都死去。自己不好意思換第四條。後來到別間魚店買了两條飛孤，不消两天又魂歸天國，魚店上星期六補送一條泰國種飛孤，幸好现左還健在。

與此同時多買六條红蓮灯(下身全紅的品種)，到今天續一死去。這還不止。連原本的紅蓮灯亦有事。剛剛換了四份一水，發覺多死两條红蓮灯和一條三角灯，非常心痛。但是其他魚和虾都無問题。現在只剩下一條黑蓮灯，两條隱型Tetra和三條红蓮灯而已。

請教各位指點方法防止灯魚再死。我已測試過水質，亞麽尼亞度數正常，但PH高至八度，有甚麽方法減至正常?水温亦不高，真是很無助。希望盡快停止灯魚灯死亡。

新魚有沒有對水呀?
燈魚喜歡弱酸bor~黑泥和草泥丸都可以降酸.
勤換水總係改善水質的好辦法.

今天拿了一些魚缸水的樣本给魚店测試，結果是無問题。可能對水功夫没有做得好。而红蓮燈比較弱和容易病死，還是遲點再添購。

不過魚店仔的人對說我可能養得太多魚。他說三十加侖水容量的缸不應養超總共三十吋仔的魚,即是說一加侖水只容納一條一英吋的魚。不知道這計算方法是否正確？如是的話，很多人都超養啦!

你魚店說的是正確的上限， 但普遍人都選擇信可養較多的 1 l / 1cm， 還連這上限也超越。

Thank you. You're right. People would have the tendency to raise too many fishes in the tank.

Within an environment the living things will struggle to survive and through natural selection, the stronger will stay until a biological equilibrium is reached. I have once bred over a hundred 王如意. Each of them was so tiny just like a eye lash. It was so amazing. As they were growing up, the number of the baby fishes were decreasing every day. They just died no matter what. Some weaker babies were attacked by the stronger ones. It is just an instinct. Eventually, I had only 3 left. It is understandable. If a pair of fishes can give birth to over a hundred of eggs and all of the hatched babies can become adult fishes, this world will be crowded with fishes. But I believe I can do better next time - say by sorting out the fishes in different tanks and changing the water appropriately.

With an experience of having over a hundred baby fishes, that was why I thought it was fine to have about 30 small fishes in the same tank.

Anyway, for topical fishes I have a lot to learn. I find they are more delicate and required more attention. May this is the fun part of this hobby.
