yes.. is a very good cooling system, cheaper than a water chiller but need space too.

Once I saw your DIY HQI several months ago, I never dare to said DIY is no good!!!
I saw this link before (separate cooling system)...The heat gen. from ordinary aquarium chiller quite disturb our daily live.BTW, If you have a big tank (over 500L water) This separate cooling system seem a good sound.........

I totally agree what you said ! This design is the best ! The guy who can think of this must be wotk in air-cond / cooling system industries !

The temp can generate lower than 10 degree C ! But i still think bit too much for our grass tank !

　　這個設計通常在酒樓的海鮮缸，大型的水冷，在大熱天時都keep住十八度至廿度左右，養海葵都無問題，不過酒樓的都不是分體冷氣型式的掣冷，而係用普通生果或冷肉櫃的機頭，不過這個構思真係好好。
　　早兩個月係深圳晒布路都見到有俾酒家用的chiller機，是一間小型的舖頭，問過佢最細的四分三匹有現貨（千六人仔），二分一的就要訂才有。不過個機頭散熱及冷凝兩部份加埋鈦鉋，全無遮擋。
　　建議你DIY一個，然後再post相上嚟教我們。

Me DIY ? I don't think so la. from the photo you can clearly see the pipe-work how it runs ! My tiger will rib me in half !
Second, you need to install the compressor (the heart) outside ! My wife will definitely give me a hand (no actually "push" will be more appropriate !)
