有呢方面知識的前輩，可否提供一D網頁參考一下。

用industrial grade chemcials得唔得呢？效果會同AR grade 相差幾遠？因AR grade 相對之下貴好多。
由於加入PMDD，因limiting factor 關係，水草對其他元素的需求亦增加，如前後兩者份量並不配合，會對水草造成反效果。
請給意見。

PMDD is just like other commercial fertilizer,
as you can adjust the amount of dosage,
you can dose less if your tank has less light and CO2.

Required Chemicals for PMDD (we may need 30g to 100g of them per litre)

Required Trace Elements for PMDD (we just need very little of them from (0.01g to 20g per litre)

CuSO4.5H2O

Na2MoO4.2H2O
ZnSO4.7H2O
CoSO4.xH2O or CoCl2.6H2O

Required Chalating Agent (we may need 20 to 30 gram per litre)

Industrial grade chemicals are not pure and I would strongly recommend to use AR grade ones.

For those who want to make their own PMDD, try to get a accurate and sensitive balance, otherwise you might have chance of having too much trace elements in your stuff and too much of these might be toxic to fish and plants.

All: I can make the weighting work in my lab. during experiment . Can other ppl do this?

I don't make my own PMDD, but I have quite a lot experience in handling chemicals. The reason for me not to make PMDD is it is very expensive to get all the chemicals. But I am 100% sure that it is fun to make PMDD.

The following are the proposed ingredient of chemicals for 1 Litre of the PMDD.

K2O or K2SO4 100.0000g
MgSO4.7H2O 31.0000g
H3BO3 1.5330g
CuSO4.5H2O 0.0114g
FeSO4.7H2O 10.1063g
MnSO4.4H2O 2.3577g
Na2MoO4.2H2O 0.0589g (not easy to found)
ZnSO4.7H2O 0.5110g
CoSO4.7H2O 0.0639g
Na2.EDTA 16.5000g

The following are the steps for the creation of PMDD
1. Measure and weight the required compounds
2. Disolve all the Na2.EDTA into 500ml of warm distilled water
3. Add the Cu..,Fe..,Mn..,Na2MoO4..,Zn..,Co.. salt into the
500ml Na2.EDTA solution
4. Disolve K2O / K2SO4 , MgSO4.. and H3BO3 into another 500ml of warm distilled water
5. Mix 2 of the 500ml solution together
6. The 1 Litre PMDD is created.

Arki, I am still waiting for my friend to help me to make this. If you can get all these compounds in Lab, you may try to make it first.
