依家用T5MO 8Wx2 =16w 唔係好夠, d 紅宮廷變綠宮廷 :cry:

換T5MO 8Wx4 or T5HO 24WX3 好?

T5MO??? You mean T8 tubes? If you can find T8 8Wx4, that will be better. T5HO is not good for your tank, because:
1. The lighting systems for T5HO tubes are of 24". Considering your tank of 16", that will exceed too much. Of course, if you don't mind the appearance of your setup, you can still take them.
2. Your tank is of approx 30l of water. 24Wx2 is still too much, not to mention 24Wx3.

For Iron fertilizers, you can consider:
1. Seachem Iron - liquid form. But that may not be suitable for your tank which is newly set up.
2. ADA Iron Bottom - stick form. If you have to add iron, this is a good choice to minimize the chance of algae burst.

I mean T5 tubes. I can found 19" T5HO for 24Wx3. I am not very welcome to use T5MO 8Wx4 because it is very broad and use many space to cover the tank.
How about 19" T5HO for 24Wx3? If I only turn two tubes on? Too large?

The length of Philips's T5HO is 58.3cm. I doubt the one you mentioned above is not genuine T5HO. If you insist, you may try 24Wx2. But you have to be very careful of the burst of algae. The chance is there.

I'd recommend 8Wx4 because the light can spread across your tank and ensure that every plant can reach the light. See if other c hings have further comment.

I saw T5HO 16Wx3 tubes (19") in parallel is available (Cyber Aqua). But they are 10000K, while T5MO 8Wx4 is 6700K (BCD). And I heard some guys said BCD transformer is not very good. Since their price is only $60 in difference. I am still wonder which one is better for my 16" tank. (My tank 10" width).

I saw T5HO 16Wx3 tubes (19") in parallel is available (Cyber Aqua). But they are 10000K, while T5MO 8Wx4 (18") is 6700K (BCD). And I heard some guys said BCD transformer is not very good. Since their price is only $60 in difference. I am still wonder which one is better for my 16" tank. (My tank 10" width). Will the width of T5HO(3 tubes) too narrow or T5MO too broad (4 tubes) to fit my tank?

I still have concerns on using CyberAqua which is of 10000K tubes. I believe BCD=AquaGem, 'cos they're of exactly the same design. Perhaps, other c hings can confirm this. Anyway, will you consider PL tubes? Frankly, it is very difficult to find a suitable lighting system for 16" tanks.

Any 6500K PL tube is fine.

How about Dazs Super Light T8 x 2, 51cm, change ADA NA tube?
Or can use the original tube or Philips tube (ADA NA is quite expensive for me).

It should fit.

But I found the width of Dazs lighting case is 23cm (9"). It will be too wide to cover my tank's width (10"). I also need to keep about 2.5" from the back to put filter pipes. So if I use Dazs light case, it looks very ugly.

Any guys know the width of T5 8Wx4 case width, is it narrower than 9"?
