If i buy FL light for 28" tank tonite, should i buy one 10000K tube + one 6000K HG tube (is 2 lights for 28" tank enough) to obtain a most suitable light intensity for my plant? And how much WATT and BRAND do you recommmand?

What is the volume of your tank ? Your tank is not shallow nor too deep, I think 3W to 4W per gallon can be enough, If you tank is 80L (around 20 gallon), the total lighting required shall be 60 to 80W.

For the brand, you can check the light spectrum before buying.

around 100w total is ok.
color temp is depends, my opinion red plants trend to like higher color temp light source.
18-20" depth is quite deep for FL tube, better to have a mud base around 4" to reduce depth ot water.

Just think of ... is light tube already included when buying a new lamp? If included, then i need to waste the original one and buy a new one from the other shop?

i think you need to buy 36W PL x 3 , because 55W PL may be longer than your 28" tank and most expensive than 36W.
You can found 變形虫 36W PL in 卡x, it is slim and may fit to your tank after using the lamp mount.
Remember check the max length of the lamp, the lamp have a arm for adjustment.

Is SuperCTW兄 建議我買 PL tube not FL 光管 lamp? Is it better?

I really don't no if WATT of PL is same calculation as FL as i usually found 18W FL tube for 24" tank; not as high WATT 36W or 55W as PL type.

Ai.. i m really confusing which one is better now tim. Please help pls help~~

u need to know that, a 24" FL only have 18W power, you may need to buy 3 set of two tube FL case, which give you 18 x 6= 108W. or can buy 3 set 36W PL which give you 36 x 3=108W.
Instead of same power output, you need 6 tube of FL and only 3 tube of PL. also the life of PL is longer than FL. and both of them need replacement about 5-6 months.

By the way, if your tank was deeper than 20", I suggust you can use HQI which can provide 150W for one bulb. and one set of DIY HQI only need $500-600 in HK $200-250 in China, aqurium HQI around $1500-1600 in HK. Excel HQI around $800 in China. The life of OSRAM HQI 150W/D about 1 year. or more.

i just brought a new hqi last week in hk, no need to diy, with blv 5200k blub, only hk$680. 個樣好似個雀籠, but you have to hang it over your tank yourself.

Beginner, can you tell me from where you bought it? How do you hang it, 釘on the wall?

i brought i from 飛達, 392 jaffe road, hk
look for john, he is very helpful. i dont use 遮光板, cause the focus of this 雀籠 is very good, not much light comes out even i hang it 12" over my tank. this hqi comes with a 鐵鍊 you have to drill a hole at the ceiling and put a 拉爆 screw with 釣 to hang it. if you don't have this kind of 經驗 ask someone to help.
