水草情迷

請問各位前輩﹐健康的水草是不是可以浮在水面的﹐而不健康的就會沉在水底﹖

我試過通常可以浮在水面的都可以種的活﹐而那些沉在水底很快就會枯黃死掉~~

Why don't you change to external canister filter for aqua grass?
CO2 is difficult to dissolve in water, in addition to that
top filtration system exposed water to air in great area
that means the CO2 already dissolved in water escaped when
the water passed throught the system.
May be it is the reason why your aqua grass wither away.

I got not enough budget to buy a external filter. i'm still a student, cant afford to buy such a expensive filter.
i already put the paip(used to carried the water down from the top filter) into the water so that the water can straight away go in the tank. it wont carried any air in when the water come down from the top filter.

O, I see. Chinese made ext. filter cost about $200 something, 2nd hand even cheaper.
But anyway, lets make do with what U got now.
What type of soil base are u using, sand or ADA soil ?
U have a large tank, 48" long, can the AZOO light covers the length of the tank?
Can U post a photo of your tank here?

Ya. but in my country is very expensive, even China made for small tank use only already cost $200-$300.
I using sand, below sand I got put 基肥.
Sure the AZOO light is not enough for the tank use.
But it can cover all over the 中景 and 後景.
For 前景 i dind't use any light because want to use moss only. Is it enough?
Now don't have any good DC, later borrow one will take some photo.

水草健唔健康,不關沉底同浮面事吧, 如果同一種水草, 浮面先較為生長, 那你的燈光就好唔夠, 照唔到落底, 水底既草就好易枯死囉.
