水草情迷

Dear all, I'm a beginner for planting 紅色水草. can anyone tell me how to make the 紅色水草 more red & beautiful?

紅草褪色是因為缺鐵這一元素
可添加一些含鐵的液肥

You need to put ADA ECA & ADA IRON into the 紅色水草

看是怎麼紅草， 一般陽性紅草的話光源是最重要， 唔夠光便不需變紅， 你做怎麼也不會紅。

As heard from other people before, I did know IRON is very important to the red-color plants. And I found that there are many many brands of Iron nutrients in the market. However, I don't know which brand or what combinations is the best. Can anyone help provide such info. to me? Thanks in advance!!!

Seacheam is quite good, it's around $50 sold on FS. I use TMG + Seacheam, I just it it for 2 weeks the "red butterfly" change the color from green to red. It's not bad. And there is some other combination, such as ADA series. But it more expensive. I just use TMG + Seacheam for about 3 weeks. U can search in this forum, there are many topic about this.

TMG + Seachem is around $200 sale on FS. For a 50L tank, this combination can be used as long as half year.

並不是所有紅色水草都是加鐵肥就會紅的,比方說紅太陽,除了加鐵肥,銅離子也不可以少,所以要添加微量元素,紅蝴蝶則是低鐵高鈣,才會紅.......
但是基本上都要燈光的配合 有問題請多多指教

Or U can try to increase the lighting time first.
Cause some of them can improve by light.
Than try 鐵肥.

Not quite right ! Light intense isn't the critical element of the cause of red water plant to turn red. The light wave length is.
You may try uv lighting , 15minutes per day then add some lime stone or some calsium stone into the root. With the suppliment of iron nutrients your plant will turn red.
Iron nutrients is not the only reason that your plant turn red
,Light neither,calsium neither. And those three make you even to control the color of red water plant,which u want it bloody red or brown red.

FS 有d 叫鐵肥片，成塊插係紅草下面，+上充足嘅燈
嘔血一樣

I bought Seacheam buttons few days ago from FS. But I am not too sure if those are the one you guys talking about,
since the boxes dosnt mention anything about iron. $60 a box
with 10 buttons. Would someone answer me please?

Thanks so much for all of you advice. In fact, I've tried using the TMG + AZOO Iron nutrients combination. However, no improvement at all. My 'Red Sun' becomes green & green Anyway, really thanks for your help! I won't give up and will further try anythings which can make my plants 'recover'.
