But would it easily get bacteria and rot if I just cut it into halves and plant them in the tank? Mine is growing too big and some leaves under big leaves turned yellow => I need to cut it into two very soon.
Any advice? Thanx.

hello:
every time when you cut your weeds the cutter should be use high temperature to sterilize, that means just simply use a lighter to burn the blade of the cutter, so the weeds won't infect by the bacteria.

Thank you firstly! But my worry is that if I cut it right on the root (like a cross-section), the cut will be very very big => will it die because of dirt and bacteria in the water???
