水草情迷

新開缸未有生物只落了小量草，無開照明，是否只行濾筒幾天等水清才落魚會好些和正確做法，初期照明是否不要太長時間？

You should turn on your light, otherwise, there's no point to turn on the CO2. Never add fertilizers to your tank in the early stage. You should do so only after 2-3 months. If you keep the light off, how can the plant grow. Don't over worry about algae. You may have 4-hour lighting each day, and increase one hour for every week until 8 hours daily. Besides, I'd say 2 bubbles per sec of CO2 is not enough for your tank. I prefer 4-5 bubbles per sec, though that may depend on which diffuser you use. Also, try to add more plant to your tank to absorb excessive fertilizers. Keep close monitor of the pH, NO2, NO3 values before adding fishes.

In Hong Kong, actually you do need to replenish K even at the beginning of setting up a planted tank. And if you deliberately use many nutrient soaking plants which really is a good move, you will have to fert very soon.

But all in all, there is no formula, you should monitor nutrient levels, and observe your plants to make up your own schedule.
