Thx! read this article before. Still have some doubt.
Have you ever see 100 apple Snail in your tank and every time you remove them all, they just pop out from no where.... I did experience that - all started from one single apple snail - OMG!
It doesn't matter whether it bite grass or not. It just look ugly.
Strangly - when I rebuild the tank, I left only one bigger Snail, it no longer reproduced and eventually die after a few months.
Just to share first hand experience.
