I have installed a Dazs 16Wx3 T5HO lighting system to
my 18" tank. I feel surprised that totally 48W still cannot
boost the bubble out. I tried to add one more 8Wx2 T5 there, still no bubble. Before, I am using 24W PL + 8Wx2 T5 lighting system, no bubble. Really don't understand.

Condition: ADA sand, CO2 -- 2 seconds, 1 bubble.

Please help.

Besides light and CO2, you also need to have enough plants (as much as possible) to make the saturation of oxygen occurs, once the oxygen that cannot dissolve in water, they will be stick together to becomes bubbles!

Seems not so related. The tank is very crowded with grasses already.
I know that the Dazs 16W T5HO used is 13000K and T5 8W used is 6700K. Are
they related to the problem? I think the environment is pretty good and
the plant can growth properly (~ 2 months already). But a bit disappointed
that no bubble can be seen so far..... :<

Some more info: the PH value of water is 6.4.

Have you checked the water flow? If it is smooth enough, the air could be held on some plants. So the 2nd issue is some plants are more easy to hold the bubbles. What kind of plants you have ...
So, if you turn off the filter for a while and the plants have bubbles, there is no problem but only water flow is too strong.

I use T5HO tube.....Philip 865...6500k ..very good for plants. (24 inches) .$ 30.(tube)

You need to change water frequently and change lighting.. Try 6500K tube ..is good for plant with bubble. PL tube try ADA NA, which also 6500K for plant but quiet expensive.

If you are using the DAZS 16wx3 T5HO, sorry to tell you that they used 13000K T5HO tube as standard, and there isn't any 16W T5HO in market at 6500K or 8000K, so that piece of lighting device is basically fit for marine aquarium but not fresh water planted aquarium.

This is a known problem and have been advised to avoid using 18" T5HO device for planted aquarium. I don't know the dimension of your aquarium so I am not sure which is the preferred lighting for you, but in general, we recommend 15wx4 T8 or 2x 24w PL instead of the non-standard T5HO.

For T8, I mean 15W x 4, not 5w x 4
You can either use 2 set of 15wx2, or 水草店 has custom make 15wx4 (ADA NA tube) available.

for 2x24PL, Atman used to make one for that, but I am not sure if this is still available in market right now.

But since you have one 24W PL, already, maybe you can just buy one more 24W PL to make that up.
